Cyber ​​security is the protection of internet-connected systems such as hardware, software and data from cyber threats. Individuals and enterprises use the practice to protect against unauthorized access to data centers and other computerized systems. Cyber ​​security is important as it protects all categories of data from theft and loss. While cyber security protects only digital data, IT security protects both digital and physical data — data in any form — from unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, deletion or other malicious intent from intruders. Cyber ​​security is a subset of IT security.
